Preparing a place — its people, its businesses, its power — for AI.
TechOps.AI trains the workforce, helps companies put AI to work, develops the energy and hosts the compute — and designs the whole thing so that what the plant produces goes back to the community that hosts it. Based in Illinois, working across the US.
Principals
Ashish Krishna
Power systems, interconnection & energy development
Ashish Krishna has developed energy projects for fifteen years — solar, community energy storage, smart-grid and microgrid systems — including 50 MW of solar developed before TechOps.AI. He carries the company's 250 MW / 1 GWh storage portfolio now in development across Massachusetts and Texas, leading capacity assessment, interconnection strategy, technical design, permitting and project modelling.
He holds a doctorate in mechanical engineering, with research in turbines and energy systems, and spent his earlier career in software infrastructure — data-centre enablement, data integration and web services. He founded Aquas Technology, a nanotechnology company developing energy-storage and water-treatment solutions in partnership with Stanford University and a US research laboratory. He stays hands-on: he has built products in blockchain and distributed systems, and is developing a GPU-utilisation optimisation framework — the engineering judgement behind the compute block design.
Girish Kapur
Sales, operations & workforce development
Girish Kapur is a technology, infrastructure and business strategist working across AI, data and analytics, digital infrastructure and renewable energy — solar, battery storage and energy-efficient infrastructure. He works where technology, physical infrastructure, energy, workforce development and economic growth meet, helping organisations turn emerging opportunities into initiatives that can actually be executed.
He leads company sales and operations and runs the workforce development business: grant programmes, university and community-college partnerships, employer relationships and industry-aligned training built to serve emerging technology, infrastructure and energy projects. Alongside that he identifies and sources land, development sites and campus opportunities, working with municipalities, economic development organisations, utilities, educational institutions, property owners and developers on feasibility, zoning and permitting, infrastructure availability, energy capacity and long-term project viability — the local relationships that decide whether a project is possible.
How we operate
One team, assembled per project
When a project starts we build the team around it, deliver, and move on. There is no bench being paid to wait, and no incentive to stretch a scope.
Execution is outsourced on purpose
Engineering of record, EPC, construction and O&M sit with specialist firms. You are not paying us to learn how to build.
We say what is unproven
Sourced facts are marked as sourced. Assumptions are marked as assumptions. Project economics are shared under NDA, never published.
Assembled per project
When a project starts we build the team around it from named specialist firms, deliver, and move to the next. It is the standard development-company model, and it means capital is not funding us to learn on the job.
TechOps.AI and Numetal
TechOps.AI carries the whole programme — training, assessment, built-and-operated AI, energy development and campus-integrated compute. Numetal is the delivery company for compute and the power behind it. Same team, one standard.
